Mr. Yoshizawa’s work is characterised by soft, pale hues and gentle, delicate expressions in form and surface decoration.
He blends the glaze based on natural wood ash; several types of metal oxides are then sprayed onto the surface. The pieces are fired in a reducing atmosphere to develop and set the colour.
